Developed by MRK for karting applications, MRK Water-Based Epoxy Coating combines an epoxy resin with a polyamide hardener. It is designed to create an anti-slip surface with resistance to rubbing and good adhesion to properly prepared concrete and bituminous substrates.
The water-based formulation allows water to be used for cleaning tools. Roller application is recommended in the technical sheet for a better anti-slip result.

Application essentials
A finish is only as good
as its preparation.
Clean & sound
Remove dust, grease, oil, loose particles and cement laitance. Abrade smooth surfaces where needed for adhesion.
Check moisture
After chemical cleaning, rinse concrete with water and allow it to dry appropriately. The sheet specifies less than 4% H₂O.
Check temperature
Substrate temperature must be at least +10°C and at least 3°C above the dew point to avoid condensation.
Roller or brush
The technical sheet recommends a roller for the anti-slip result. Water is the stated thinner and cleaner.
Colour & project planning
Black as standard.
Other shades on request.
The standard colour is black. Other colours are available on request, with a minimum order of 440 L as specified in the technical sheet.
